Nearly 300 people attended a recently held in-person awareness event in Holmes Lounge on the Danforth campus highlighting ImpacT projects and programs. A photo gallery showcasing the excitement is available for viewing below.

The event was a vibrant manifestation of our commitment to placing our faculty, staff, and students at the forefront of all our endeavors, showcasing the enthusiasm and active participation from all corners. Thank you to everyone for making it a resounding success. At the heart of this effort lies the aim of fostering meaningful and constructive two-way conversations. Feedback and insights are instrumental in shaping the initiatives and driving WashU IT toward continual improvement.

During the event, three dynamic zones captured diverse and enriching opportunities that blend alignment between the university’s Here and Next and IT’s ImpacT strategic plans:
Zone 1 showcased our dedication to ensuring the safety and security of your information through our CyBear Secure program. Our commitment to identity verification through the IT Asset Management program remains unwavering, as we navigate the ever-evolving challenges posed by sophisticated cybersecurity threats.

Zone 2 underscored the collaborative efforts of our campus partners who tirelessly work to bolster your success. From Workday Human Capital Management and Finance to Student Sunrise projects, every initiative is geared towards enhancing your experience. Moreover, the focus on Research Infrastructure Services, Secure Enclave, and Data and Analytics highlights our commitment to making information accessible and valuable for your academic pursuits.

Zone 3 projected a visionary outlook, emphasizing our resolve to empower the future. The strides we are making in digital transformation and network modernization, coupled with the implementation of the Advanced Relationship Constituent Hub, underscore our commitment to staying ahead in the technological landscape. Additionally, the emphasis on stringent IT Governance measures speaks to our dedication to responsible and strategic decision-making.

It is important to acknowledge the collective effort that propels us towards our university’s mission. The collaboration between all of us, both at the forefront and behind the scenes, is integral to the realization of our shared goals. With our university’s mission as our guiding light, the IT department continues to strive to be your trusted strategic technology partner, delivering secure, innovative, and information-rich solutions.
