WashU IT is inviting you to attend a special event to highlight the projects and programs in support of ImpacT, the IT Strategic Plan, at the Medical School campus from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday, June 10 at the Eric P. Newman Education Center (EPNEC). The goal is to introduce to the medical university community, including students, faculty, and staff to the plan that is inspiring and directing IT efforts across the entire institution through 2027.
This is the third event of a three-event series initiated in August 2023. The first event was dedicated to the internal IT team, and the second was aimed at the Danforth campus faculty and staff.
At the event, attendees are invited to embark on a fun and explorative journey through the diverse landscape of Information Technology at WashU. The event will showcase various groups and initiatives from WashU IT and distributed IT and BJC partners, all designed to support WashU Medicine.
Divided into three main areas – Securing Your Information, Supporting and Enabling Your Success, and Empowering Our Future – attendees will have the opportunity to learn about all the work and improvements being done at WashU to create a unique customer experience at the university and ensure our community stays at the forefront of technological innovation and excellence.

The event will feature remarks from Jessie Minto and possibly Dr. Payne, the Director of the Institute for Informatics, Data Science and Biostatistics (I2DB), Janet and Bernard Becker Professor, Associate Dean for Health Information and Data Science at the School of Medicine, and Chief Data Scientist at the School of Medicine.
The launch of ImpacT is a significant step forward in our commitment to enhance the university’s mission by delivering secure, innovative, and information-rich solutions.
