New Walk-Up IT Service Location for students opening July 12

Student Technology Services (STS) is excited to announce a new walk-up service location for students.

In support of one of the university’s space planning efforts and ongoing commitment to supporting students, STS will relocate from the Gregg House (located on the South 40) to a more central and visible location in the Danforth University Center (DUC).

The new service location, in the front foyer on the south side entrance of the DUC, is part of broader changes to the new support structure aimed at ensuring all students, undergraduate, graduate, or otherwise, can easily access the technology assistance they need.

As of July 12, STS and Tech Den will be officially moved out of Gregg House as part of this transition.

Additionally, the Tech Den, focusing on student programming and enrichment, such as 3D printing, will be located at 6214 Forsyth Blvd. This space will give students more experiential learning opportunities and faculty collaborative projects.

“We are thrilled to bring our student services to the DUC where they can easily access support and resources in such a central location,” says Kenndall Dolan, Executive Director of End User Services.

These changes will give STS and Tech Den their own dedicated spaces, making it easier for students to know where to go to get the technology help that they need.
