Beginning August 21, the WashU Mobile app will be retired as part of a planned transition to a suite of specialized mobile applications designed to provide direct access to the services students, faculty and staff use the most.
After this date, the WashU Mobile app will no longer be maintained or updated. The recommendation for users is to remove WashU Mobile from their phones to avoid outdated information and continue enjoying an optimal mobile experience by using a suite of applications.
These applications are tailored to connect the university community with valuable information and tools to support daily activities on campus. These apps are free and available for download from the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
Available Apps:
- Workday – WashU’s system for human resources, finance, and student administration.
- WashU Safe – Receive safety alerts, contact emergency services, and access important campus safety resources.
- GrubHub – Browse on-campus dining menus, place meal orders, and choose pickup or delivery options.
- TripShot – View real-time shuttle schedules and routes for campus transportation on your phone and desktop.
Tip: Add WashU Links to a Phone’s Home Screen
Individuals can add any WashU webpage—such as the university directories, libraries, or campus map—directly to a phone’s home screen on Android and iOS devices. This provides a one-tap shortcut to frequently used resources, making them just as accessible as an app.
This transition ensures that access to all essential information and services continues seamlessly, supported by a suite of mobile tools designed to keep the community connected to WashU wherever they are.
The WashU IT Service Desk is available to assist with any questions or concerns during this transition. For questions or assistance, contact the WashU IT Service Desk.
