On March 18, 2025, the WUSTL Key will officially be renamed WashU Key as part of the university’s ongoing rebranding from WUSTL to WashU.
What’s Changing?
The name is changing from WUSTL Key to WashU Key, along with updates to the appearance of the current WUSTL Key login page and the university logos associated with logging into WashU 2FA through the Duo app.

Login Page After the Change

What’s Staying the Same?
- Your login credentials (username and password)
- The login process and security features
- Access to university systems and services
This update is part of WashU’s ongoing brand alignment. No action is needed on your part—just keep using your credentials as usual.
Why This Matters
We understand that changes to login credentials can raise information security concerns for our students, faculty, staff, clinicians, researchers, and alumni. Rest assured, while the name and appearance are changing, the security and functionality of your credentials remain unchanged. Your data and access to WashU systems will continue to be protected with the same security measures in place today.
