Recently, areas reporting under the WashU IT Chief of Staff attended an on-site meeting to ensure FY25 goals alignment. Our IT Portfolio and Project Management Office, Finance and Administration, Human Resources, and Vendor Management teams came together for an inspiring meeting at the Saint Louis Zoo.
The event was led by Melinda Schmidt, Assistant Vice Chancellor and Chief of Staff, alongside Tim Brooks, Executive Director IT Portfolio and Project Management Office, Suzanne Pea, IT Finance and Administration Senior Director, and Megan (Esser) Fitzpatrick, MA, Senior Human Resources and Payroll. Many team members assisted in the presentation, speaking on their goals and contributing to a well-rounded and comprehensive discussion.
It was a fantastic opportunity to connect face-to-face, align our objectives, and strengthen team cohesion. Team members from across the country joined virtually, making it an inclusive experience. The day began with breakfast, followed by an engaging presentation, lunch, and an afternoon exploring the zoo’s attractions. The group is motivated and aligned, ready to tackle the year ahead and deliver a great experience to all members of our university community!
