An overview of WashU IT’s FY25 Goals, an introduction to new employees and contractors, recognition of work anniversaries and retirements, and some special stories that will connect us to our mission are on tap for the August IT All Hands meeting set for Wednesday, Aug. 28th.
While FY25 goals have been broadly shared within WashU IT and with our distributed IT partners, members of the senior leadership team, led by Chief Information Officer Jessie Minton will discuss the following:
- Delivering FY25 goals associated with the WashU CyBear Secure program on time and on budget.
- Executing FY25 goals associated with Technology Modernization on time and on budget.
- Accomplishing FY25 goals related to Research Infrastructure Services on time and on budget.
- Completing the IT Governance strategic roadmap for all domains, including the financial assessment of proposed investment in conjunction with service cost impacts for roadmap funding priorities by the end of the fiscal year.
- Fulfilling Student Sunrise, Data Management, Associated Integrations, including Reporting and Datamart Development and Census Reporting on track to support the FY25 go-live plan.
- Delivering Service Excellence to enhance employee engagement and provide an excellent customer experience.
Suzanne Pusa, Manager of Technical Services in the WashU School of Medicine’s Information Technology Support Services, will share a compelling story of the recent WashU IT and BJC joint CrowdStrike response, which involved quick response to minimize the impact of flawed software deployed by the vendor in the early morning hours last month, leading to issues around the globe.
The latest news from Julie Szaj, Director of Organizational Change Management, on WashU IT’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee will round out this important monthly meeting.
