WashU IT hosts St. LouisCIO monthly meeting at EPNEC 

WashU CIO Jessie Minton recently engaged in a morning of thought-provoking discussion on Generative AI with WashU’s Digital Intelligence and Innovation Accelerator’s Dr. Philip Payne and Jerry Fox, Senior Vice President, Chief Information and Digital Officer at BJC Health System. WashU IT leaders, including Chief of Staff Melinda Schmidt, Chief Technology Officer Greg Hart, Deputy CIO Amy Walter, and Interim Executive Director Russell Sharp, and Theresa Eckman, Vice President of Health Information Systems at BJC served as small group facilitators. The theme for the event was AI as a transformational force in higher education and medical practice. 

St. LouisCIO is one of 30 chapters in the Inspire CIO Leadership Network, which focuses on enhancing the effectiveness of leaders in information technology; particularly CIOs. Many industries and organizations were represented at the event hosted by WashU IT, including the Saint Louis Zoo, MERS Goodwill, Maritz, Olin Corporation, and more.
