Introducing the IT Organizational Change Management (OCM) Team

The Portfolio and Project Management Office (PPMO) at Washington University in St. Louis is improving customer support. The Performance Support and Communications team has reorganized and rebranded as the IT Organizational Change Management Team (OCM). The Team’s mission is to support the people side of change within the organization. As a part of this initiative, the IT OCM Team has been certified in the industry-leading Prosci Change Management methodologies and is applying these best practices to current processes, improving customer support. The OCM will partner with you at the individual, project or organizational level, with the ultimate goal to help your current and future change initiatives succeed. During the change process, the OCM team attends to the needs of the users, administrators, and support teams. By leading the organization in change management, the team aims to increase organizational agility and increase the overall success rate of projects.

The OCM team includes IT Learning and Development Specialists, formerly known as Performance Support Analysts (PSAs), and Communications Specialists. The OCM team offers a wide examples of deliverables in their portfolio. The website offers Documentation, Communications Plan Templates, Self-Paced Online Training (eLearning), Digital Signage, Website Hosting examples, and Videos of the OCM team’s prior work.
