Those in WashU IT and Workday Support interested in taking part in the annual Thinksgiving day of collaboration and problem solving to benefit local non-profits should complete a survey by the end of the day Friday, Sept. 20th to be considered. Teams will form fast, so act now.
Thinksgiving connects St. Louis nonprofits with innovative teams from smart companies and organizations like WashU for a day of creative problem-solving focused on the future. This year, Thinksgiving Day will be November 7, 2024. On Thinksgiving Day, Business Partners and Nonprofits pair for a full day of strategic thinking and creative problem solving followed by a party where everyone’s work is shared and celebrated.

This is an excellent professional development and networking opportunity, which also allows participants to give back to the St Louis community.
The goal is to solicit interest from 20 team members to form 4 cross-functional teams. If you are a good problem solver, enjoy working as part of a team, and are interested in participating, please fill out the interest survey by 5 pm Friday, Sept. 20th.

Mid-October Best Practices Workshops On site @Filament, in Cortex | Get prepared for Thinksgiving Day - These professional development workshops will feature alumni business partners sharing their experiences, an overview of the toolkit and exercises, and best practices for a successful Thinksgiving Day with your nonprofit partner. |
November 7, 2024, all day Thinksgiving On site @Filament, in Cortex | Business Partners and their paired Nonprofit spend the day tackling their Thinksgiving challenges. We’ll conclude with a party and share our work, meet one another, and learn more about all our participating Nonprofits. |
