Tuition assistance helps WashU IT employees plan for the future

WashU offers many ways for employees to benefit from tuition assistance programs. Pursing available WashU degrees can help you and your dependents build your career, expand your prospects, and plan for the future.

Qualified full-time employees who have met necessary service requirements can benefit from university assistance to complete degree programs. The benefit available to employees could over up to 100% of tuition costs for part-time, evening undergraduate programs, as well as 50% of tuition costs for part-time, evening graduate programs. For more information, employees are encouraged to visit Tuition Assistance.

WashU IT employees could have up to the remaining 50% of part-time, evening graduate program tuition costs covered for up to one class per term by getting supervisor approval. Employees are encouraged to contact their managers for more.

Once an employee has obtained approval from their supervisor, they will need to download and complete the  Graduate Employee Tuition Assistance Request Form and submit it to  Christy McCollum, Director of IT Finance.  The form will be reviewed and submitted to HR benefits for processing.

The university offers additional tuition benefits, including Spouse/Domestic Partner Tuition Assistance, Dependent Child Tuition Assistance, the Graduate Nursing Tuition Program, and the Undergraduate Nursing Tuition Program for eligible full-time employees. Eligible regular part-time employees could also benefit from the Dependent Child Tuition Assistance Program. Learn more about the many benefits available to you and your dependents.
