We are pleased to announce that Mark Craig has been named Executive Director of Enterprise Applications, reporting to Jen Stedelin, Deputy Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic and Administrative Technologies.
“As I lead EA, I am looking to continue to build upon the foundation put in place under Amy Walter’s leadership,” Craig said. “I would like to thank Jen Stedelin for her confidence in me, and look forward to working under her guidance. Our focus will be on continuing to secure and modernize our applications and integrations, raising awareness of our product capabilities, and successfully delivering on our projects with a key focus on stakeholder experience. Through this, we can innovate, build trust, and enable our business partners to deliver on the mission of the university.”
Craig was named to the role in an interim capacity in February after Walter, former Assistant Vice Chancellor for EA, was selected as the new Deputy Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor for Research, Clinical, and Medical Education Technologies, following a national search.
Working within WashU IT for 18 years, Craig has spent the last 16 in leadership positions.
“I have been impressed by Mark’s leadership and steadiness as he has carried out this important role in an interim capacity,” Stedelin said. “It is clear the team trusts him. I am confident in his ability and look forward to working with him.”
