OCIO Message: Minton celebrates WashU IT employees and ImpacT

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who attended the IT ImpacT in-person launch event last week. You made it such a huge success. We had a crowd of nearly 350 people! It was so nice to celebrate you and all that you do to ensure the success of IT’s ImpacT Strategic Plan, which complements the university’s Here & Next Strategic Plan.

If you haven’t already done so, please check out our new WashU IT LinkedIn page. You’ll see some fun pictures from the event. We hope you will follow and share this resource with your network. Soon we will begin posting exciting career opportunities. We’re looking forward to filling those positions with amazing people to complement our team of talented professionals.

Speaking of our talented team, some of you recently received a link to complete an employee engagement survey. This is the first of our planned annual employee engagement surveys, and I would like to ask you to please take about 15 minutes to complete it. The confidential information you share through the WashU IT Culture Engagement Survey will help shape and guide our internal strategies.

Thank you to all of you reading this for everything you do to support a welcoming and inclusive culture within WashU IT. We appreciate your contributions, as well as your commitment to making people feel valued. Through our important work, we ensure technology is coordinated, secure, and accessible, and we strive to enable excellence in research, education, and patient care.

As I said during our in-person ImpacT launch event, we have some real opportunities ahead of us, and I’m looking forward to meeting them with all of you.
