The Learn@Work Compliance Profile, a survey that assigns required job safety and research compliance training, will be updated in September 2023. The new version will provide an updated look and feel, help text, and a streamlined way to answer questions. Release of the new Compliance Profile will be announced on the Learn@Work Home Page.
WashU staff, faculty, and student workers are encouraged to take the Compliance Profile to ensure your training assignments match your current position with WashU, particularly if you’ve never taken the Compliance Profile or you’re a member of a department or university area that requires regulatory and compliance training, like Research.
What’s Changing?
Area Specific Compliance Offices (ASCOs) worked with WashU IT to revise questions and modernize the survey. The new Compliance Profile will dynamically present questions based on the answers you provide, instead of as a fixed list of questions and will offer context information in the form of Help Text to help you appropriately answer questions. The Compliance Profile Summary will continue to record your responses and resulting course assignments for you to reference later. However, it will only track answers provided to the new profile. Any answers entered in the legacy Compliance Profile will no longer be available when the new version launches.
What Is the Compliance Profile?
The Compliance Profile is a web-based survey that helps identify required training for faculty, staff, and student workers. Completing the Compliance Profile ensures you are assigned appropriate training for the work you do here at WashU. Although Compliance Profile questions apply primarily to research and safety, all employees are expected to complete the survey to ensure adherence to basic workplace safety requirements.
Note: Required training may be assigned to you in different ways. Not all training is assigned by the Compliance Profile.
