We are pleased to welcome Michelle Stirnemann to the Washington University IT team as our newest EUS Director. In addition to 20+ years of IT experience, Michelle brings a decade of leadership experience to WashU IT. Beginning her IT career at a help desk, she moved through the ranks to Lead Help Desk, Tier II, User Access, Networking, ServiceNow, and Cyber Security Teams. As a result of her passion for people, performance, and culture development, Michelle is excited to lead the Service Desk and Access Management Teams.
Michelle says, “I am excited and thankful for this opportunity as Director EUS – Help Desk and Access Management. I prioritize team member development, and create a team culture dependent on positivity and innovation. I focus on formalizing IT as a service with a focus on customer experience and formalizing strategies which promote high customer satisfaction, empowering my organization to be engaged and accountable.”
Michelle is married with two daughters, aged 19 and 21. In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking and photography.
