We are pleased to announce an update to ServiceNow for the Request Short Description field designed to improve the customer experience.
Fulfillers can now edit the Short Description field on Request items similar to the Short Description field on Tasks.
This allows us to provide better descriptions on item requests for your team view, for reporting needs, and for the customer who requested the item.
It is important to note that only individuals with a fulfiller role can edit the Short Description field.
