Gartner Office Hours and generative AI discussion kickoff this Friday.

You are encouraged to attend a special kickoff event from 2:00-2:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, to learn about Washington University’s Gartner account and how you can leverage resources to make informed decisions about your work. 
      
Hosted by Justin Harris, Senior Account Executive from Gartner, the topic of the first office hours session is Overview and Generative AI. Employees received the virtual meeting login credentials by email last week. For more information, or to receive the credentials again, email bbethany@wust.edu.   

Working with more than 700 higher education institutions around the globe, Gartner is a company dedicated to providing expert guidance and tools to enable faster, smarter decisions and stronger performance on an organization’s mission-critical priorities.   
        
Other informative sessions will be held in 2024 on the following dates:

  • Applications – Feb. 23  
  • End-User Services – April 19  
  • Information Security – June 21  
  • Data and Analytics – Aug.16  
  • Leadership and Change Management – Oct. 18

As the dates for each of the sessions draw closer, more information will be shared.  

Gartner offers tools and information that can help employees save time, improve productivity, and enhance service delivery. WUIT employees’ free access to their Gartner account gives them a wealth of materials to gain a better understanding of best practices for running IT infrastructure and operations, as well as a broader perspective on enterprise planning and architecture.

Office hours will provide WUIT staff the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the many resources that are available.
