Information Security Five-Year Roadmap: Name Competition Finalists 

The Information Security Five-Year Roadmap naming contest is nearly complete. Please take his quick survey to select your favorite from seven potential roadmap names!

The Office of Information Security (OIS) Roadmap Team and I would like to thank everyone who participated in our competition for the naming of projects that will fall under the Information Security Five-Year Roadmap. We appreciate the creative, innovative, and visionary suggestions that were submitted for this initiative. This action would not be possible without you.

While it was challenging, the Roadmap team has narrowed down the final selections for our naming competition which was introduced in the last issue of Tuesday Tech. The top names are:

  • CyBear
  • Secure ImpacT
  • The Kraken
  • WashU Protected
  • WashU Secure
  • WashU Cyber Shield
  • SecureIT (like ImpacT)

We will share the winning name, as well as the name of the person who submitted it in the June 13th issue of Tuesday Tech. The person who submitted the name will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
