Earlier this month Amy Walter was selected from a nationwide search for the role of Deputy Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor for Research, Clinical, and Medical Education Technologies within WashU IT. This appointment leaves a key leadership position open within Enterprise Applications.
Effective immediately, Mark Craig, Senior Director, will serve as the Interim Executive Director of EA. With this change, Mark will report directly to me.
During this time of transition, Senior Directors Jennie Franke and Josh Edwards, and Director Omar AlRefae will report to Mark. Assistant Directors Sarah Everett and Maria Moyer will report to Jennie.
These changes will help facilitate a smooth transition as we prepare to hire a Deputy Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor (DCIO/AVC) for Administrative and Academic Technologies. Once a new DCIO/AVC for Administrative and Academic Technologies is selected, the management of Enterprise Applications will report to that position.
I want to take this opportunity to thank Mark for stepping up to help in this capacity. I would also like to thank Jennie for assuming additional responsibilities to ease our transition.
Our goal is to manage these changes with as much finesse and efficiency as possible. To the entire EA team, thank you for your patience as these adjustments take shape. It is very much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Jessie
Jessie Minton, Vice Chancellor & Chief Information Officer
