How do I manage or change passwords stored in CyberArk?

A video tutorial for Using CyberArk for Password Storage is available.

To Change a Stored Password

For VaultOnly accounts:

  • Select an account to open the Account Details.
  • Select Change in the Compliance Status section.
  • Add a new password based on password rules.

*Changing the password in PVWA for VO accounts does not change the password in the target account.

**For fully onboarded accounts, password rotation rules are set by the CyberArk admin in the platform policies for each account. For example, passwords may be rotated every 45 days. Also, the password will be rotated every time an onboarded account is checked back in.
