Prioritizing our team: Employee resources and engagement insights take center stage at May IT All Hands

The May 20 IT All Hands meeting will focus entirely on employees, highlighting available university employee resources that support wellbeing and delivering an update on the WashU IT employee engagement effort.

Jen Stedelin, Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief of Staff to the Chief Information Officer, will lead the session. She will kick off the meeting by sharing several important department updates and employee recognitions, including a year-in-review of service milestones.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the meeting will feature special guests who will focus on holistic staff support. Apryle Gladney, Vice Chancellor and Chief Human Resources Officer, alongside Emily Page, Senior Manager of Wellness and Benefits Projects, will share news regarding the wide variety of wellness and employee resources available across the university.

Following the wellness briefing, Stedelin will return to deliver the meeting’s second core presentation. She will provide a comprehensive update on WashU IT’s ongoing employee engagement efforts, incorporating feedback and information recently gathered during staff focus groups.

As usual, participation is strongly encouraged throughout the event. Attendees who ask questions or share insights in the meeting chat will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of event tickets. Two distinct ticket packages are up for grabs. One winner will receive a pair of tickets to see the St. Louis Cardinals face the Chicago Cubs at Busch Stadium on Friday, May 29. Another winner will receive two tickets to the Thursday, June 18 performance of “Hairspray” at The Muny.

The June IT All Hands meeting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 17.
