WashU IT’s administrative support team provides outstanding service 

WashU IT’s administrative support team of professionals works hard to elevate the customer experience, providing outstanding, timely service. In the spotlight are Maureen Fischer, Executive Assistant to Chief Information Officer Jessie Minton, Administrative Coordinator III Melissa Schicker, Administrative Coordinator III Ashley Miholli, and Administrative Coordinator II Jackie Sills. 

The mission of our administrative support team is to provide outstanding administrative support for the WashU IT organization by delivering quality services in a timely manner.   

Services that are provided to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and their direct reports, members of the Senior Staff, include: 

  • Outlook Calendar Scheduling 
  • Meeting preparation and minutes for staff and team town hall/all hands meetings 
  • Mass emails, such as Enterprise Application (EA) 411 monthly Newsletter; WashU IT all staff events, holiday events, etc. 
  • Catering requests 
  • Space reservations for team meetings 
  • Interview Scheduling 
  • Assisting with conference registration and travel needs 
  • Assisting with Workday Expense reports 

Services that are provided to managers reporting to Senior Staff include: 

  • Catering for large team meetings 
  • Space reservations for team meetings 

Other administrative support duties not specific to the SLT or managers: 

  • Monitoring the WashU IT Admin email inbox 
  • Incoming mail 
  • Office supply ordering 
  • Coffee ordering 
  • Facility/building maintenance requests 

This competent team of professionals ensures operations run smoothly and seamlessly. The team strives to enhance and grow its capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the organization and create conditions that support a positive customer experience by working collaboratively with WashU IT Senior Leadership and staff.
