Software Asset Management (EUX SAM) and Software Licensing (EUS SL) collaborated and began the renewal process for software titles expiring in December 2025.
BioRender and Parallels renewals began Oct. 6, and managers or renewal points of contact must complete their actions by 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24. Budgetary approvals will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.
Nitro renewals began a week later, and managers or renewal contacts need to complete their actions on Friday, Oct. 31. Budgetary approvals will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7.
What to Expect
- The survey will require two approvals instead of three.
- Survey will be sent to People Leaders/Managers of the licensee.
- Management will approve licenses requests first, followed by budgetary approvers.
- Managers, please remember to provide budgetary approvers with enough time to complete their portion.
- If your department utilizes a designated coordinator to manage software licenses, please update the Software Renewal form accordingly.
- Software Licenses which are not marked Still Needed by managers and Renew by budgetary approvers by the deadline will be cancelled. Impacted employees will lose access to the software upon expiration.
- There is no grace period for this renewal survey.
