WashU IT End User Services (EUS) is pleased to announce the expansion of its book club to include all of WashU and distributed IT partners, starting this fall. Book clubs provide many great benefits, including learning new skills, developing social connections across groups, and improving critical-thinking skills.
The group typically meets every other week, and all meetings are available virtually, though the preference is to provide an in-person option for the first and last meetings. Kelisy Grob-Dukka, IT Procurement and Lifecycle Specialist, and Travis Williams, Deskside Team Lead, will be the facilitators who will lead discussions and offer engagement and insights in-between meetings.
To participate, complete a 3-question interest survey by Tuesday October 29. Once interest is assessed, a preference for meeting is identified, and a book to read is chosen, that information will be announced.
While books will not be provided for participants, the club’s organizers will do their best to provide resources for accessing books through libraries and other means.
For questions, to learn more, or to join the discussion, find the WashU IT Book Club on Teams.
