The IT Executive Committee establishes the university vision, strategy, and priorities. Supported by the IT Investment Committee, the IT Executive Committee reviews and approves major project and program proposals, enabling the university to balance its improvement goals with available resources in alignment with the university’s strategic mission.
Executive Committee Responsibilities
The IT Executive Committee is responsible for:
- Ensuring alignment of the IT portfolio with university strategy and priorities
- Reviewing and approving domain strategic roadmaps
- Approving domain IT investment allocations
- Ensuring that the intended benefits of IT investments are realized
- Guiding prioritization of major project and program investments
- Selecting domain committee chairs
The IT Executive Committee meetings are held approximately quarterly, aligned with the Board of Trustees meeting as needed. Additional meetings may be scheduled to accommodate time-sensitive issues. Meetings will be scheduled to ensure time for planning and preparation for presentations to the Board of Trustees and Board Committees.
