WUSTL Connect
WUSTL Connect functions as the primary authentication system for Washington University in St. Louis, applying to students, faculty, staff, and alumni accessing IT-managed applications. The fundamental components managed by WUSTL Connect include the WUSTL Key and WashU 2FA.
The WUSTL Key serves as a personal authentication credential, comprised of a user-selected login ID and password.
The WashU 2FA is a multifactor authentication method, ensuring that the individual logging into a WUSTL account with the WUSTL Key is genuinely the authorized user. It is a second layer of defense against unauthorized logins to any WUSTL Key-enabled service.
