Changes to the custom Depot order process  

As of last week, Custom Hardware Requests are submitted separately from Custom Software Requests in ServiceNow — and Custom Hardware Requests will trigger automatic email updates throughout the process.  

Custom Hardware Requests are now submitted separately from Custom Software Requests in ServiceNow — and Custom Hardware Requests will trigger automatic email updates throughout the process.   

Customers will receive automatic email notifications when the estimated delivery date is updated and saved at the item request level. This occurs:   

  • When a Purchase Order is confirmed and the estimated delivery date is available from the vendor.  
  • When the field is updated at the item request level after the item(s) arrive at the Depot.  

 These changes reduce the need for manual communication and improve visibility for customers.
