May 20: New and Renamed Planview Fields

WashU IT will add new fields and rename others in Planview on Sunday May 19, between 8:00 and 11:00am.
The changes detailed below will be available for use on Monday May 20.
Project Intake Form – Strategic Alignment
The New Project Intake Form will have a new mandatory Strategic Alignment field. This multi-select field will be completed by Project Managers, giving the the ability to align our projects with the ImpacT “We will succeed when” statements.
- Once complete these fields will be copied to the Project.
- They are editable within the Project if necessary.
Executive Summary Tab – Two New Categories
We are adding Risk Profile and Stakeholder Engagement categories to the RYG fields in the Executive Summary tab.
Additionally, a Trending field will be added to all categories for a more accurate picture of the project.
For example: If a project is Yellow on Resources but you know the lack of resources will delay the project delivery date, then you can select:
- Resources – Yellow
- Trending – Red
