Timesheet/Resource Reports
The report can be run to show the timesheet entries either by resource or by a project or both.
Report displays:
- Project, Service Ops, and Admin Actual Report
Scope:
- Choose Organization or Resource
Resource:
- Select Resource Name, if required
Enter project title (if needed) or remove the filter
This report shows resource time logged to a project.
Report includes following fields:
- Date
- Resource name
- Role
- Project Title
- Task
- Time Type
- Total hours
All Timesheet Entries (Project, Service Ops, Admin) by Resource & Team
Report includes following fields:
- Resource
- Role
- Team
- Project
- Task
- Time Type
- Timesheet start date
- Timesheet end date
- Total hours
This report provides timesheet information for resource/s with notes. Includes Projects, Service Ops, Admin
Report includes:
- Resource name
- Month
- Date
- Project
- Task
- Time type
- Total hours
- Entry notes
- Timesheet notes
This report shows the timesheet approval state (Not started, In Progress, Fully approved, Pending final approval, Rejected)
Report includes following fields:
- Resource Name
- Timesheet Approver
- Resource Team
- Timesheet End Date
- Approval State
Filters setup as:
- Timesheet – Last Week
- Unit Manager – Current User
Allocated Roles Reports
The Allocation vs. Actual Time report is used to compare resources’ allocated time against their actual reported time in Planview PPM Pro.
Example Report: Run report > Add column titled Variance between Allocation Hours and Date – Month
Actuals Hours > Add a Sum Subtraction Formula to the new Column to calculate the variance

This report shows the total hours logged each month to all billable projects within a unit and the total cost in dollars
Includes Staffed vs Unstaffed option.
Report includes following fields:
- Date: e.g. 11/01/2024 (can run multiple months if needed)
- Project Status: Open
- Project Billing Type: Time & Materials (Can run Non-Billable and Time & Materials for Show back Purposes)
- Project > Delivery Team
- Project Title
- Resource Name
- Resource Role
- Resource Allocation Start Date

The Projected Toll Revenue report offers Finance and WashU IT realistic projections on the department’s budget alignment and expenses. This report is presented to senior leadership on a monthly basis. You may run the report as needed.
Toll Revenue Report with Staffed vs Unstaffed instructions (doc) This user guide provides steps for leadership to complete the monthly revenue forecasting updates using the emailed dashboard link, as well as running the Projected Toll Revenue report, with the option to include Staffed vs. Unstaffed.

Project Reports
Scope: Provide a most current inventory of all projects within WashU IT.
Includes the following project details:
- Linked to Portfolio

- Project Status
- Investment Type
- Type of Funding
Filter: Choose Filter as needed.
This report shows all proposed projects for a coordinating team.
