The April All Hands meeting featured Chief of Staff Melinda Schmidt introducing the new WashU IT Operating Model, as well as Chief Information Officer Jessie Minton highlighting important employee milestones, and a presentation from Emma Klues, Vice President of Communications for Great Rivers Greenways. Those within WashU IT are invited to take a post-meeting survey to determine how comfortable you feel with the new Operating Model.
An operating model is a structured framework that helps ensure IT functions are efficient, aligned with business goals, adaptable, secure, and cost effective. WashU IT’s operating model aligns with our IT strategic plan, ImpacT, and guides the decisions we make and the actions we take. Together, these tools support WashU IT to perform its role in support of WashU’s Here and Next strategy.
Specific details about the operating model and how we all fit within it will be shared within WashU IT teams by managers during upcoming meetings over the next few months.
