FAQs
How Will I Be Impacted?
Qualtrics for Sensitive Data will send email notifications at the 90, 60, 30, 7, and 1 day intervals to remind survey owners that survey data will be deleted 365 days after the last response is received. These email notifications will include instructions to download survey data for your convenience.
Note: Any survey currently in Qualtrics for Sensitive Data that has not received a survey response in 365 days will be deleted when the 365-Day Data Retention Policy is enabled Sept. 30.
What is the 365-Day Data Retention Policy?
Starting Sept. 30, Qualtrics for Sensitive Data will automatically delete survey response data 365 days after the last survey response is received. By ensuring data is not stored within Qualtrics for Sensitive Data indefinitely, WashU and survey creators are better protected from data breaches. Survey creators should export their survey data from Qualtrics, and store in an approved location when the survey is completed.
