Important Message from HR: WashU IT Employee Resources available to report discrimination, harassment, and more

Here at WashU IT, you are a valuable part of the Washington University community. As a valued member of our team, we want you to feel safe and welcome.

Whether you are an employee, a contractor, a patient, or a family member, if you experience discrimination, harassment, conduct you feel is abusive, or any type of inappropriate behavior, please speak up. Even if the incident doesn’t involve a WashU employee, we want to know. If it’s happening to you, it might be happening to others and we want to stop it.

Speaking with your manager is always the best first line of defense. But we want you to know there are many reporting resources available, based on your comfort level and specific needs.

You may raise concerns regarding HR policy violations or your workplace environment confidentially through the HR Confidential Concern Portal online or by calling 1-844-484-5957.

If you feel you are in immediate risk of harm or physical danger, please call the WashU Police Department (WUPD) 314-935-5555 or Wash U School of Medicine Protective Services 314-362-4357. Or you may call 9-1-1.

We have an open-door policy and strongly encourage you to tell us if you ever experience any situation that makes you feel uncomfortable. We want you to show up to work and life as your full self and are committed to empowering you to do so.

Warmest regards,

Megan Fitzpatrick
