Sharon Swan has accepted a new position as the Senior Director of Digital Workspace at Anheuser-Busch. Her last day at WashU is Thursday, August 26.
Sharon worked for Washington University from 2002 to 2009, then returned to WashU IT 6 years ago. Most recently she led the Shared IT Services (SITS) Program to a successful completion, as well as serving as a Senior Director in Enterprise Applications. Amy Walter, Assistant Vice Chancellor and CFU of WashU IT Enterprise Applications, has said she was grateful to have had the chance to work closely with Sharon this last year and appreciated her thoughtful leadership across the Domain Delivery Teams and her strategic thinking on the EA and OCIO Lead Teams.
Please join together in congratulating Sharon on this exciting new role and thanking her for her lasting contribution and strong leadership in WashU IT. She will be missed but her friends here in WashU IT wish her all the best and look forward to staying in touch!
