Things to Do

Forest Park

This is a beautiful park with a 6 mile paved loop around it.  Most venues at the park are free.

You can take the Metrolink Blue or Red Line directly from the Cortex Station west to the Forest Park Station.  The Forest Park Station is across the street from the History Museum (at the top of the interactive map).  The Zoo and Art Museum are both at least a mile from the station, and it’s mostly uphill.  Lyft or Uber may be better options for those.

Visit the WashU Danforth Campus

The Danforth Campus is located just west of Forest Park.  It can also be accessed by the Metrolink.  From the Cortex Station, head west on the Blue Line to Forest Park Station to the Skinker Station.

Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum – This on campus museum is close to the Skinker Station and is always free and open to the public.
