I am currently using Box as a backup target for my storage device – can I keep doing this?

Currently, you can continue doing this without any issues. However, once you hit your quota, you won’t be able to save any additional files until some existing ones are deleted.

If you are already using more than 1 TB and the temporary storage quota increase does not meet your current needs, you may request an additional storage quota increase by completing the Box request form. Please note that alternative storage options or quota increases may incur a financial cost per user or department, which will be discussed with you upon reviewing your request.
