Executive IT leadership at Washington University in St. Louis has invested significantly in enabling and supporting the expansion of IT@WashU staff through a number of training programs. One of the most prominent IT learning and development opportunities supported by the Office of the CIO is the MOR Leadership Program.
The program, created and managed by MOR Associates, focuses on helping leaders impact their personal development and position their organization so that it can deliver increasing value in the future. Participants engage in this months-long program that combines feedback, individual development goals, one-on-one coaching, workshop instruction, and applied learning as a proven approach to building leaders.
The OCIO has made this development opportunity available to more than 60 IT staff across the Danforth and Medical campuses since 2013.
To continue the momentum and learning opportunities of the program, its WashU alum formed the IT@WashU Leadership Development Committee. The IT@WashU Leadership Committee is an inclusive and dedicated volunteer group committed to further advancing leadership development and practices to all IT staff at Washington University in St. Louis through training, mentoring, and coaching opportunities.
