Connecting to a printer

Troubleshooting printers

Changing default printer:
  1. Enter printer in Windows search box (lower left).  search
  2. Choose Devices and Printers (Control panel)in search results.
  3. In the list of Printers, right-click the printer name, choose Set as default printer.

Changing Printing Preferences:
  1. Enter printer in Windows search box (lower left).  search
  2. Choose Devices and Printers (Control panel)in search results.
  3. In the list of Printers, right-click the printer name, choose Printing preferences.

 

Mac Printing (Shared IT Services)

In Shared IT Services, printers are added in the Self Service application. To add a printer, open Self Service in the dock (or go to Finder > Applications > Self Service).

Sign into Self Service with your WUSTL Key.

Click on Printers under Categories in the right-hand navigation, and locate the printer in the list, or use the search field in the upper-right corner to search on the printer name.

Click the Install button for the printer(s) you would like to add. You will need to enter your WUSTL key the first time you print to a newly added printer.
