WashU IT Research Infrastructure Services (RIS) is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of an enhanced customer onboarding experience for users.
Enhancements will be made starting in late May to elevate the customer experience. After May 30, you can go to the RIS website to explore the updates. Some of these upgrades will include a new website layout and an onboarding process to capture requirements that will help guide customized training and optimize utilization of services for research.
“The enhancements of these platforms will provide a more intuitive and user-friendly interface to get information and support,” said Craig Pohl, Executive Director of RIS. “
The website will offer a navigation experience that is more seamless and straightforward. Researchers will benefit from an updated Jira customer portal, providing a more intuitive experience.
The Jira customer portal now offers onboarding, as well as access to training and education for labs and departments. It simplifies the process of modifying and activating new compute or storage services and adding a new application request for use within the Scientific Compute Platform.
As a way to keep researchers engaged and up-to-date on the latest news, this upgrade will allow updates to be added to the RIS website in real time.
