January 16: Demote Domain Controllers and Retire Domain

On January 16, the following Active Directory Domain will be decommissioned.

Active Directory Domain being decommissioned
  • Career Center – wucc.ais.wustl.ed
Domain Controllers being decommissioned
  • WUCCDC1.wucc.ais.wustl.edu     128.252.143.134
  • WUCCDC2.wucc.ais.wustl.edu     10.24.69.6

All active directory objects have moved to to the accounts.ad.wustl.edu domain.  There is no remaining Active Directory traffic going to WUCC.  Formal demotion of the WUCC domain from the wucc.ais.wustl.edu forest will now occur.  This is the final step resulting in the domain being permanently offline.
