LinkedIn Learning Available to WashU Community

LinkedIn Learning graphicWe are pleased to announce that LinkedIn Learning, an online learning resource with thousands of courses offered in multiple languages, is now available to all current students, faculty, and staff at Washington University.  LinkedIn Learning, formerly Lynda.com, supplements our already world-class education with courses covering items such as software, programming, leadership skills, and more.

Students can take advantage of LinkedIn Learning in multiple ways, including tutorials for Adobe software, gaining awareness of and learning the tools and skills currently in demand by potential employers, and programming courses such as python, to assist in academic pursuits.

Faculty can more fully capitalize on statistical software, such as SPSS, learn tips for public speaking or grant writing, and discover new methods for engaging learners.

Staff can benefit from soft skills development, such as successful goal setting, improve software skills with an extensive selection of Excel courses, and develop in more technical areas such as learning data analytics and how to write SQL queries.

The above examples are just the tip of the LinkedIn Learning iceberg.  With more than 14,000 courses, offered in 7 different languages, the plethora of learning possibilities is extensive and continues to grow.
