Our Tobacco-Free Campus

A gentle reminder that all Washington University campuses are tobacco-free. Smoking and the use of all other tobacco products is prohibited on the entire campus including inside vehicles parked in campus parking lots and on sidewalks next to buildings occupied by WashU students, staff, and faculty.
The university is committed to your health and well-being. A number of tobacco cessation resources including products that are 100% covered by insurance such as patches, gum, lozenges, and medications are available to you here.
It’s your decision to quit using tobacco and it’s certainly not an easy one – I can attest to that. I smoked for 16 years and have been tobacco-free since 2010.
