WashU IT leadership and Performance Support have prepared guidance for effectively managing meetings. Meetings can be a powerful collaborative tool that help us recognize our various strengths and allow us to work together to produce much better results than would otherwise be possible. When mismanaged, they can also leave everyone in the room feeling like they have wasted their time. Making meetings valuable doesn’t just happen without some thoughtfulness and careful planning from all parties involved.
It is with this in mind that WashU IT leadership and performance support have developed a toolkit to provide guidance for planning and participating in meetings. Take a minute to explore the documents found here and let us know if you have any feedback about how we can work more productively together. Inside the folder linked above, you will find PowerPoints for managers/attendees and posters suggesting useful tips for making sure attendees leave the meeting feeling that it was time well-spent.
