Office 365 Service Degradation Detected

Microsoft has notified Washington University Information Technology of an Office 365 service degradation impacting a small population of users accessing via the desktop Outlook client. Microsoft is working to resolve the issue. In the meantime, affected users should access Office 365 via email.wustl.edu or the mobile app.

We will provide updates as they become available. A full restoration of service is expected by 10:00 a.m. on July 27.

We appreciate your patience as we work to restore service.

UPDATE: July 27 – We are aware of continued service degradation with Outlook email. Microsoft has confirmed that service issues have extended to the mobile app and they are working to resolve the issue. Affected customers should continue to access email via email.wustl.edu.  Microsoft plans to update customers at 2 p.m. We will update our users at that time.

UPDATE: July 28 – Office 365 service has been restored to full functionality. We will continue to monitor the service to ensure this functionality persists. We appreciate your patience as the vendor worked to resolve this issue.
