The WashU IT Capital Investment Project Scorecard provides an overview of the major IT projects underway, including important dates and deadlines, key contacts, and project status and scope. The scorecards help ensure that the university’s resources are used responsibly by serving as means of accountability for project managers. Project managers update the scorecards monthly and present their findings to WashU IT senior management.
The scorecard tracks projects that use capital funds from the IT Executive Committee. Adhering to IT governance’s principle of transparency, the Capital Investment Scorecard is posted on the WashU IT website and is available for staff to view. WashU IT staff members are encouraged to review the scorecard regularly to see how specific projects may impact other events happening within their departments.
