Cognos Tip of the Month: Reduce Credential Resets

Users who have scheduled reports in Cognos may be familiar with the sinking feeling one encounters when a scheduled report fails to run. This is often due to the user updating his or her WUSTL Key password, which requires the user to update credentials in Cognos before scheduled reports will resume.

Rather that remembering to reset your credentials every few weeks, try enrolling in two-factor authentication for your WUSTL Key account, and keep your password for an entire year.
